Leadership Experience
As an undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill, I served on the Sigma Nu Philanthropy committee rising funds for Habitat for Humanity and other local charities. Additionally, I held a leadership position on the Sigma Nu Honor Board. Prior to attending medical school, I work as a medical scribe team leader assisting in the training of new employees.
Why did you join the Health Sciences Leadership Council?
My motivation to join the Health Science Leadership Council is grounded in the unique opportunity to collaborate with interprofessional students and connect with community leaders to encourage leadership involvement within our local communities. Furthermore, I am eager to continue to develop essential leadership skills vital to my future as a physician.
