Why did you join the Health Sciences Leadership Council?

Interprofessional practice and the formative experience that can be gained from that is beyond important to me. Before we enter the world as healthcare professionals, we must know how to work as members of a team with differing histories, knowledge, and strengths. I joined the Health Sciences Leadership Council because of the opportunity for interdisciplinary engagement and collaboration with peers that make up more than just my department of study.
