Why did you join the Health Sciences Leadership Council?

I joined the Health Sciences Leadership Council because I am passionate about collaboration in health care. To provide the best care to patients, it takes teamwork and an effort from a variety of professionals. Encouraging interdisciplinary involvement helps students develop connections moving into their career, as well as a respect for all healthcare professionals. I wanted to be a part of facilitating these interactions while developing my own interprofessional relationships. I am so excited to serve on the HSLC!
